Friday Night New Wave is back Friday at 8 PM Eastern / 7 PM Central, three hours of 80s stuff that still holds up when everything else feels dated.
This week’s Spotlight Artist is Berlin... we’ll trace their quick trip from indie provocateurs to that one massive soundtrack moment that changed everything (and maybe broke them a little).
Also on deck: a fresh Under the Radar digging up three forgotten singles that somehow never got the airplay they deserved, plus the usual Then and Now look at what was happening around this time back in the day. Birthdays too, because apparently we’re all still counting.
As always, most of the show is whatever you throw at me, so get your requests in early at fnnw.live... or come hang in the chatbox where people are already overanalyzing B-sides and arguing about who had the best hair. Private request box is there if you’d rather not explain yourself to the internet. See you at eight.
