Friday Night New Wave rolls in this week with a spotlight on Split Enz... the New Zealand outfit that somehow made angular, theatrical new wave feel both wildly inventive and strangely comforting, like the band that knew the party was temporary but still brought the good jackets.

We’ll dig into their catalog, pull a few deeper cuts, and generally sit with the fact that some sounds from the early ’80s still refuse to age the way the rest of us do.

Under the Radar and New Wave Birthdays will make their usual appearances, and the rest of the three hours belongs mostly to whatever you throw at us.
